What is PayRange?

PayRange is a leading payment provider for unattended retail. With over a decade in the industry, PayRange has over 550,000 sold machines, 7 million funded wallets and manages hundreds of millions of transactions annually, as well as 300,000 near five-star reviews on Apple and Android. We have a very reliable system and easy to use mobile app, and we guarantee its effectiveness.

How does PayRange work?

PayRange sets up in four easy steps:

1. You simply install our BluKey device on your machine(s).

2. You then apply the instruction decals to the front of your machine(s) – notifying your customers that the machine now accepts mobile payment.

3. Following the easy instructions on the decal, your customers will then download the PayRange App, add funds, and then conveniently pay via their phone.

4. As an operator, you’ll set up an account, register your devices, and provide a bank account for weekly sales deposits (every Monday.) We offer comprehensive installation instructions and phone support when required to guide you through the process.

What does the system cost?

Currently, our BluKey devices are available for $59.95 each, with a one-time Service Bundle Fee of $20 per device. [If the customer asks; the Service Bundle Fee applies to new and existing customers and includes: harness (if applicable), decals(s), and device network activation.] The total cost of a BluKey $79.95 plus applicable shipping and taxes. There is also a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee.

What does the system cost?

Our fees are $0.02 per transaction plus 3.49% in the USA (4.25% in Canada). For amusement devices, the rate is 5.25% due to industry-specific processing costs. Additional details on our fees are available at shop.payrange.com.

For example, a typical $2.00 transaction would cost about nine cents.

What is the BluKey warranty?

We provide a 1-year warranty on our devices, with an optional Assurance Plan to extend this to 5 years for just $5.99 per device.

What payment methods are accepted for my customers?

Our PayRange mobile app accepts credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH transfers (checking), crypto pay, gift cards, and EBT in selected states.

Which machines are compatible with PayRange?

PayRange is compatible with most commercial machines.

Vending machines on the MDB standard are plug-and-play and install in 30 seconds.

Laundry machines must be commercial with an electronic payment system. Coin drops and card ready machines are always compatible, coin slides must have a control board and send pulses. For stackable machines, you need one BluKey per coin drop.

How easy is it to set up an account and install a device?

Our devices are self-install and only takes 2-5 minutes depending on machine model. We will supply you with step-by-step set up and installation guides, some videos, and phone support if necessary.

How reliable is the PayRange network?

PayRange has a 99.99% uptime. Our dual redundancy servers, located on the West and East Coasts, ensure consistent service availability.

Does the PayRange system supply machine availability and laundry progress to my customers?

With our BluKey Connect device ($299.95), you and your customers can check on machine availability and track laundry progression from the PayRange App. (This feature comes with a monthly monitoring fee of $4.95 per location.)

What type of support services are available?

We offer round-the-clock support for both mobile app users and operators. Tier 2 support for our operators is available during normal business hours of 8am – 5pm Pacific Time.

Once installed, what more do I need to do?

As part of the installation process, you will have created an operator account, set up pricing profiles and registered devices to your account to receive payment. Additionally, please attach a PayRange supplied instructional decal to each machine so that machine users will know PayRange is installed and available.

How do I promote PayRange to my customers?

Word of mouth is the most effective promotion. Encourage your attendants or drivers to spread the word. We also provide marketing materials for free download and purchase.

How do I receive my money?

Funds to you will be transferred at the end of each settlement term (once weekly). PayRange collects machine sales from Sunday to Sunday and deposits payment into your bank account by Tuesday of every week. (banking holidays apply).

Ii WiFi or internet needed?

No WiFi or internet is needed on your part. Users pay via their cell connection and Bluetooth, simplifying the process for both you and your customers.
