How PayRange Improves Operations For Oh My Wash!

Matt Crateau, with two partners, owns and operates Oh My Wash! in Forest Grove, Oregon. “We’re transitioning more and more to the PayRange platform.” Said Matt when describing management of his recently purchased laundromat.

Matt described his store as being “the coin vault for the town” when he first acquired it. PayRange has allowed him to retain coin acceptance for payment while reducing the need to change coins in the store, no longer being a “slave to your changer” as Matt put it.

Beyond helping mitigate coins, Matt enjoys other features of the PayRange platform. Speaking to the remote refund capability he says “Being able to credit them (customers) through the PayRange app is fantastic, and it’s super easy.” He also shared that repeat customers have a preference for PayRange over coins, particularly prior to his retool. After reinstalling the same PayRange hardware in the new machines Matt implemented in-app promotions for free dryer use on slower days, a way to reward loyal PayRange users while increasing traffic in the store.

Support from PayRange is also highlighted as a positive by Matt, describing it as simply “phenomenal.” Fast response times, dedication to a resolution, and follow up are reasons given or this sentiment.

Looking ahead, Matt plans to expand PayRange with payment kiosks and says of the platform “The PayRange app itself, the costs are so minimal, and the benefits are kind of untapped in my opinion here at this store.”
